In an effort to empower and create revenue stream for families of the Nigerian Prison Service Officers who lost their lives during service to their country; we gave relief items: Complete grinding machines and stands. We took the Cooperate Social Responsibility initiative to Adamawa, Borno and Yobe States that unfortunately had an insurgency leading to loss of these fallen Heroes.
The initiative was put in place to give back to our host communities and would maintain relationship with the NPS Officers. The Initiative wasn’t limited to only Sigma Pensioners but also to the Beneficiaries of other families who weren’t registered with Sigma Pensions’ members.
Mrs. Nafisah Muhammad Buba, the Head Business Development Division North said “This was an opportunity for us to be socially responsible as an organisation and empower host community around us and create a decent livelihood for families of officers who have served our country”.
