As a woman in the world of business, there is the tedious struggle to excel at work. Though it may seem difficult, with adequate planning and the right digital media, it is possible to live a life of ease.
Here are a few digital tools that will help #TheSWoman in her day to day activities;
Cal– One of the biggest problems is having a detailed list of upcoming events or appointments on our calendars. Cal, a Google calendar puts an end to that. It is just as effective as a personal assistant. It helps you to better manage your time, meetings, events and tasks. Its best feature is that each event you create will have complete information attached: the location or list of participants (from your contacts), so that you always have the complete picture of what’s coming up. It is available for download on Apple and Play Store.
Hubspot- HubSpot is a developer and marketer of software products for inbound marketing and sales. HubSpot provides tools for social media management, content management, web analytics etc. They have an online resource academy where free online courses can be taken with certification provided once you sign up.
MailChimp- The compulsory task of reaching out to customers has been simplified by the use of mailchimp. It is a marketing automation platform and an email marketing service that allows you send bulk emails customizing them according to individual preference. It is simple and easy to use once you sign up as a user on the site.
Canva- It is a free graphic-design tool website. It uses a drag-and-drop format and provides access to over a million photographs, graphics, and fonts. It is used by non-designers as well as professionals. It gives you access to clearer, better images and the opportunity to create and edit images to taste.
Wunderlist- With Wunderlist, to-do lists no longer need to be written down on a scrap of paper or kept in your head where you’re bound to forget at least one thing. Everything from grocery lists to tasks for your employees can be organized in Wunderlist and shared with the people who need to be involved. Tasks in one list can be assigned to specific people and you as the creator can receive notifications when a task is complete. There is a need to sign up on the site before the app can be used.
Dropbox- Whether it is charts, audio or video files, or simple documents, taking the time to attach files to an email is no longer necessary. Dropbox is an app to ensure that your files are shared quickly and are easily retrieved by the recipient. It creates a special folder on the user’s computer, the contents of which are then synchronized to its servers and to other computers and devices that the user has installed Dropbox on, keeping the same files up-to-date on all devices. Dropbox uses a free business model where users are offered a free account with a set storage size, with paid subscriptions available that offer more capacity and additional features.
